CSI Golden Girls Dance Team
The CSI Golden Girls Dancers are the official dance team of the College of Southern Idaho, representing CSI at all men's and women's basketball games, some volleyball and our favorite rodeo event, The CSI Boxing Smoker.
Golden Girls promote school spirit at games, school activities and local events by entertaining our fan base. Our CSI fans are the best in the country with sold out games and events year-round! This makes being a CSI entertainer a lot of fun!
These CSI Golden Girls give back by volunteering for local charities such as The Jae Foundation, Twin Falls Animal Shelter and Bridgeview Retirement Home.They look forward to performing for our local retirement communities and always spread some extra joy during the Christmas season.
Our dance team program is part of our CSI Athletics department and is supported by fellow coaches and athletes. We travel to SLCC away games and all region tournaments. We proudly support our CSI Men's and Women's basketball teams as they compete in national tournaments in Kansas and Wyoming. Our CSI Booster club are our #1 fans and have supported us financially for the past several years as we raise funds to attend USA Nationals in California.
The team is coached by Julie Wright-Leggett. This is her 19th season as head coach of the CSI Golden Girls and advisor to the CSI Eagles Cheerleaders.

Scholarship
All team members, as long as they remain eligible, will receive scholarship awards each semester. The breakdown for 2025 is as follows:
- $300 1st Semester
- $500 2nd Semester
- $750 3rd Semester
- $1000 4th Semester
Remember that the price for tuition is just $140 per credit at CSI.
- You can also use the Idaho LAUNCH to help pay for your tuition, while still getting the scholarship awards each semester.
To be eligible you must:
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher each semester
- Attend a minimum of 12 credit hours
- Successfully complete 24 credits per academic year.
- Follow the rules of the CSI Athletic Contract
