Students who live outside of a location that has a CSI Testing Center and need to take an exam (placement exam or CSI class exam) will need to fill out a Distance/Proctor Request form. Please follow the guidelines below as to where forms need to be sent.
Students who are currently enrolled in a class and need to take an exam outside of the CSI Testing Center needing to obtain approval for a proctor must fill out the proctor request form and return to the class instructor’s e-mail or fax number listed on the student's syllabus.
To qualify as a proctor, an individual should hold one of the following positions listed below.
Personal friends, family members, and co-workers are not approved proctors.
The CSI Testing Center provides testing opportunities for students of other colleges and universities to take their exams in a secure and proctored environment. Anyone who would like to take their exam at CSI must first contact their school to inform them of the desire to take an exam at the College of Southern Idaho. Many schools require their students to fill out a form so they can get the necessary information sent to CSI.
CSI distance proctoring for other colleges or universities requires the following:
Students who are unsure if their exam materials have been received by CSI, please contact the Testing Center before showing up for your exam. If CSI does not have your exam material, you will need to contact your school. Please be aware that CSI will not pay for shipping charges for an exam or any exam materials. If there is any cost associated with an exam, the student will be responsible for arranging payment with their school.
