The mission statement of the CSI Safety Committee is to "promote campus-wide awareness of safety issues, help to assess safety concerns on campus and to facilitate their resolution."
The College of Southern Idaho Safety Committee endeavors to educate the campus population about maintaining a safe campus environment, to facilitate compliance with applicable laws and campus policies and procedures, to be the conduit for information flowing from and to campus administration, the public safety organization, and the various functional organizations on campus and to be the subject matter experts regarding emergency response protocol for the organizations that they represent.
All departments, staff organizations, and buildings on campus have representation on the CSI Safety Committee. The committee is chaired by the Public Safety Director. Questions concerning the Safety Committee can be referred to him at 208-732-6605.
