Complete an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. An AAS is a requirement for completion of this bachelor’s degree. If you have not completed an AAS, we may still be able to help you complete both degrees. For example, if you have completed an AS or AA, our advisors will review your transcripts to determine a pathway toward completion of an AAS as you work on Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) classes. If you are within one semester (15 credits) of competing an AAS, we may also be able to help you get started on your BAS classes.
Meet with an advisor or enrollment specialist. Our advisors will help determine, not only eligibility, but your best path forward toward BAS completion, whether you are interested in being a full-time, or part-time student.
Complete a Change of Major request. After approval from an advisor, you will be admitted into the BAS degree program. This step is important because financial aid is different for BAS students than for AAS students.
