The College of Southern Idaho’s Dental hygiene program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and has met the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements.”

ADEA Compendium of Curriculum Guidelines for Allied Dental Education Programs May 2015-2016

These guidelines are utilized in coursework developed by CSI Dental Hygiene Faculty. These guidelines reflect specific topic content. Faculty also configure the course work with strategies that include case studies, problem-based scenarios, computer simulations, community experiences, and collaborative work with dental professionals and other members of the health care teams.
