This is a free program sponsored by the College of Southern Idaho, in partnership with the CSI Office on Aging, the Filer, Buhl, Shoshone, and Hagerman School Districts, and the Jerome, Rupert, Burley, Gooding, and Hailey Recreation Departments, as well as the Wendell Senior Center.
Active Aging classes are specialized to provide a more intense workout in a smaller class size setting. You can choose from well-known premium classes like Zumba Gold, Weight Training, Pilates, Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and so much more!
Classes are typically available in Twin Falls, Burley, and Jerome, ID. The Active Aging classes follow the CSI semester schedule and have a small fee attached.
You can take fitness classes virtually! This means you can join in from any location where you have an Internet connection and participate in an exercise class either in real-time or by viewing a recorded session later.
Our instructors have worked to set up their teaching spaces with the needed technology to ensure that remote participants can see and hear them, enabling them to participate effectively from a distance.
