Financial Aid & Scholarship Timeline 2025-2026

Please refer to the financial aid & scholarship timeline to ensure you’re on the right path for funding your education.

OCTOBER 2024
October 1	FAFSA Opens for 2025-2026 https://studentaid.gov
October 1	CSI General Scholarship Application Available for 2025-2026 Apply via MyCSI once you are admitted to the college http://mycsi.csi.edu
October 1	Idaho Launch & Idaho Opportunity Scholarship Application Available for Idaho Residents https://scholarships.idaho.gov/
FEBRUARY 2025
February 1	Aid offer notifications begin for students. Watch your CSI email for notifications and log into your self-service account via MyCSI to review financial aid & scholarship offers. http://mycsi.csi.edu. Students and families should review My Finances in MyCSI self-service portal to make sure expenses are covered.
February 1	Aid must be accepted along with the completion of the Master Promissory Note (MPN) at https://studentaid.gov/mpn/ and Entrance Counseling at https://studentaid.gov/entrance-counseling/ for funds to be disbursed to your student account by tuition and fee due date. Note that MPN and Entrance Counseling do not have to be completed/signed each semester. Students and families should review My Finances in MyCSI self-service portal to make sure expenses are covered.
MARCH 2025
March 1	Priority scholarship and financial aid application date. To serve students and their families better, fall applicants who are admitted and submit their FAFSA by this date are assured full consideration for all CSI general scholarships and financial aid available. After March 1, the college will continue to admit students, award scholarships and other financial aid to qualified students on a rolling basis as applications are received.
March 1	Idaho Opportunity Scholarship Deadline.
March 15	Summer review for students enrolled in summer courses begins. Aid offer notifications begin for students. Watch your CSI email for notification and login to your self-service portal via MyCSI to review financial aid & scholarship offers.
APRIL 2025
April 1	Idaho Launch Application Due https://scholarships.idaho.gov
JUNE 2025
June 1	Note enrolled students will forfeit their Federal Supplemental Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). Remaining FSEOG funds will be re allocated to enrolled students.
JULY 2025
July 1	Scholarship Recipients – Final High School Transcript Due.
Throughout July	Review finances to make sure tuition and fees, housing and meals and book expenses are covered. Setup stipend preference with NelNet via your self-service portal in MyCSI. Requesting a Direct Loan? Complete MPN and Entrance Counseling at https://studentid.gov
AUGUST 2025
August 1	Students not enrolled full-time will have their aid offered reduced.
August 1	After this date only enrolled students will be packaged federal financial aid.
August 1	Priority Financial Aid Document Date – All required documents must be submitted by this date to have aid offered (Including Scholarships) available. Aid must be accepted/declined and all required documents including entrance Counseling & MPN completed for funds to disburse by tuition and fee due date.
Throughout August	Review finances to make sure tuition and fees, housing and meals and book expenses are covered. Enrollment Specialist are available to assist students and families in determining options. Student statements are available for student and family review. August 15	Students receiving scholarship awards are required to complete their registration and accept any pending awards. Students not fully registered will have their awards removed and the funds will be redistributed to other eligible students.

August 25	First Disbursement/Credit to Student Accounts.
August 28	Stipends for federal aid and scholarships begin.
SEPTEMBER 2025
September 1	General Scholarship Application Closes. Second and final round of scholarship review begins.
September 17	30 Day Delay Disbursement/Credit to student accounts for student loans.
September 22	Stipends for 30 Day Delay begin.
OCTOBER 2025
