Apply to UpLink

UpLink is a CSI career-focused academy that enables Junior & Senior high school students to attend CTE classes. Students spend half the day at CSI, morning or afternoon dependent on program, and half the day at their high school meeting graduation requirements. 

Offering over 15 different programs, UpLink is a great way for high school students to get on campus and jumpstart their education and career training.

Applying To UpLink

  1. Meet with your high school counselor.
    • Check progress towards high school graduation and class schedule.
    • Obtain letter of recommendation from your counselor as required in application.
  2. Apply to CSI first as a dual credit student at the link below.
  3. Meet with Melissa Chantry and your guardians for advising and program review. 
  4. Submit completed application and documents by May 1st.
  5. Interview with the selected program's instructor.
  6. Register for classes.
  7. Order tools, supplies, and books.
  8. Attend class in the fall.

Who is eligible to participate in UpLink?

  • Most students should be at the end of their junior year and live within an easy to commute distance of CSI as classes take place on campus daily. 
  • Juniors and sophomores may qualify for some programs depending on their high school schedule and counselor recommendation. 
  • Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing with their high school.
  • A letter of support is required from the student’s high school counselor to show that this program will not interfere with high school graduation requirements.
