Dual credit coursework enables high school students to make progress towards a college degree before they finish high school and save on the overall cost of a college education.
High school students, log in to the DualEnroll portal to apply for the dual credit program and register for classes.
The Early College program at CSI continues to grow with over 6,000 students earning dual credits in the 2019-2020 academic year. With that growth, the Early College team is dedicated to ensuring students have access to the help and resources they need at all of the 60+ high schools we partner with. Idaho is helping to lead the way in dual enrollment, ranking in the top five states in the nation for dual credit participation!

Registration Deadline - Students must be registered in their dual credit courses by the close of business on the deadline listed above for each term.
** Important Certificate of Residency Note - Students who use Fast Forward funds don't need to fill out the Certificate of Residency Form, but will need to accurately report the county that they live in. If a student pays for a college course via other means, (such as out of pocket and does not utilize Fast Forward) the student will be required to submit a Certificate of Residency Form to their county by the deadlines listed above.
Dual credit courses enable high school students to earn both college and high school credits simultaneously. Upon completion, grades and credits are recorded on both transcripts. Students must manage their coursework, grades, and deadlines independently. Before registering, students should understand Advanced Opportunities protocol, funding obligations, and potential risks. Courses are offered at high schools, online, via VTC broadcast, or at a CSI campus. The accumulated college credits facilitate progress towards a college degree or certificate, saving on overall college costs. General education credits may transfer to public Idaho Higher Education institutions, subject to their policies.
