FAQ

What if I don't know how to ski / snowboard?

Great! These trips include lessons for people new to skiing and snowboarding as well as intermediate and advanced lessons for expert techniques.

Can I rent gear?
Yes! Each mountain has a rental shop. After your student trip discount, rental prices should be about $15/person. That includes skis (or snowboard), boots, poles, and helmet.
How do I get there?
Your CSI Outdoors trip fee includes a van carpool, but you can drive your own vehicle if you prefer. Parking is free at these resorts. You can follow the van from CSI. The caravan leaves 30 minutes after the meeting time from the parking lot beside the Rec Center.
Can I bring my kids?
These trips are for 18+. Contact CSI Rec Center or Community Ed for activities for children and families.
What should I expect? I have more questions!
Once you register with CSI Outdoors, we will send you an email with extensive trip details including suggested gear, a daily schedule, instructions to get your lift tickets, and more.
