Twin Falls, Idaho – The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) has reported significant enrollment growth for the Spring 2024 semester. Headcount, which refers to the unduplicated number of students enrolled at the institution, has grown 12.1% when compared to Spring 2023. This positive trend is also reflected in the number of credits taken by students, with a year-over-year increase of 11.9%. The most significant area of growth this spring was in students taking dual credit college courses while still enrolled in high school. This spring, 8,456 students are enrolled in a dual credit course at CSI, a growth of 16.4% over a year ago.
“We are excited to see such significant growth this spring,” said Dr. Jonathan Lord, Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at CSI. “It continues a trend of enrollment growth that reflects both the hard work that we are doing to get our message out about what CSI has to offer, and the confidence that students have in our ability to help them meet their educational goals.”
The total number of students attending CSI this spring is 12,198, and those students are enrolled in 77,638 credits.
