Affordability: We provide what we like to call "affordable self-discovery". Many of our students are exploring more than one career option as they earn core credits. At $140 per credit, CSI charges less than half what any of Idaho's 4-year universities charge for the same classes all college freshmen and sophomores have to take. Here at CSI you can afford the space and time you need to discover what you most want to do with your life.
Flexibility: We are ready to help you at whatever starting point you find yourself, and as you move toward meaningful goals you have set. Do you need help getting ready for college classes? We can help. Are you planning to attend classes while working a full-time job and managing an already busy life? You'll soon find you are in good company, as many CSI students also hold down steady jobs while meeting their educational goals.
Diversity: As you look around our campuses and your classes, you will see many students who are the first in their family to attend college, or who are returning to college, or balancing college and career. You are joining a diverse body of CSI students who are working to meet their goals and are moving on to higher education opportunities, and satisfying, productive, and rewarding careers.
Within a period of 1-2 days after acceptance to CSI, all students are given a CSI account which includes login credentials for all CSI digital services, including websites, software, lab or checkout computers, and a CSI email account.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) - this important process helps ensure we can keep your digital identity safe. MFA is used to ensure that digital users are who they say they are by requiring that they provide at least two pieces of evidence to prove their identity. The first time you log in you will be asked to complete MFA and to set up account recovery information.
MyCSI is your student portal, and from here you can pay tuition, add and drop classes (within certain deadlines), print your class schedule, check your grades, find a tutor, and more. You can visit MyCSI here.
CSI Email is the official email used by your class instructors, academic advisor, and other important college departments to communicate important information related to your academic record. You should check this email account frequently to make sure you don’t miss important information.
