Top Ten Things to Know About the CSI Honors Program
- Honors Program students are encouraged to engage in thought-provoking, enthusiastic, sometimes controversial, discussions with their peers about current issues of the day.
- Honors Program students have the opportunity to meet new people and develop new friendships in an environment that supports their academic goals.
- The Honors Program student space is open for students to relax, socialize, snack, and study with state of the art computers and printers available for student use.
- Honors Program students have access to free tickets to most on-campus cultural and educational opportunities.
- Honors Program students are given scholarships through the Bordewick and Bacon Scholarship Endowments to help offset the costs of their educations.
- Honors students have unique, personal, access to a diverse group of off-campus speakers and authors who bring new ideas and perspectives through the Eagle View Lecture Series.
- The CSI Honors Program provides wonderful community service opportunities for personal enrichment, resume building, and community betterment.
- Honors courses, program requirements, and connections help in building elite transcripts, resumes, portfolios, and letters of recommendation to assist with transfer and scholarship acquisition.
- Honors Program students have the opportunity to participate in Top Scholars Banquets, nationwide academic and scholar awards, and leadership development.
