Dual Credit Registration

A DualEnroll account is required before students can register for a dual credit course(s). Below are the registration steps for New Students and Returning Students. You will also find the How-to-Video. 

 

Registration Timeline

Please keep in mind the registration deadline for the courses you intend to register for. We encourage you to register as soon as possible so that you do not miss the registration deadline. You will find the registration deadlines in the Early College calendar or CSI Academic calendar. 

 

New Students

Create a DualEnroll Account

For New CSI Dual Credit Students

Creating your DualEnroll account is the initial step in enrolling for Dual Credit courses. It's crucial for applying for admissions and registering for courses. 

  1. Visit CSI DualEnroll, CreateAccount (link below)
  2. Fill out the required information; marked with asterisks, then click Create Account
  3. Receive an email from noreply@dualenroll.com with the 'Confirm my account' link
  4. Complete the Student Application form; complete all fields marked with a red asterisk. 

Note: Your confirmation email doesn't complete the course registration process. 

 

Login to DualEnroll

Register for a Course

You register for a course(s) after establishing your DualEnroll account. 

  • On the 'Courses" tab, search for your specific course - use the filters on the left-hand side of the screen to narrow your search
  • Select your course then click on the Title Course hyperlink
  • You will be directed to the 'Course Detail' page
  • Locate ' Available Sections' and select your desired section 
  • Click 'Register"

Follow the above steps for each course you plan to take. Course registration can take up to two days to be processed. 

After You Register

After registering for a CSI course in DualEnroll, you will recieve an email or text confirming your enrollment. You can view and print your class schedule in MyCSI Self Service. 

First-time registrants will receive an extra email with your CSI Student Number and email address. Your email is needed for setting up your MyCSI account. 

Returning Students

Login to DualEnroll

Login to your DualEnroll account and follow these steps to finish course registration.* 

  • Log in to your existing DualEnroll account 
  • After you have logged in you will be directed to the course registration page

Register for a course:

  1. On the 'Courses" tab, search for your specific course - use the filters on the left-hand side of the screen to narrow your search
  2. Select your course then click on the Title Course hyperlink
  3. You will be directed to the 'Course Detail' page
  4. Locate ' Available Sections' and select your desired section 
  5. Click 'Register"

Follow the above steps for each course you plan to take. Course registration can take up to two days to be processed. 

*You only need to create an application once; please avoid creating another account.

After You Register

After registering for a CSI course in DualEnroll, you will receive an email or text confirming your enrollment. You can view and print your class schedule in MyCSI Self Service. 

Important Next Steps

Advanced Opportunities

Advanced Opportunities funding helps students pay for Dual Credit course(s). The Advanced Opportunities program allows students to request up to $75 per credit for a dual credit course.

Advanced Opportunities (SOAP)

Students attending home school or private school may be eligible for tuition reimbursement under SOAP. Tuition payment is due on the date set in the CSI calendar with reimbursement being paid only after approval.

Paying for a CSI Dual Credit Course

Students who do not qualify for Advanced Opportunities funding will have to pay for their course(s) out of pocket and turn in a Certificate of Residency (COR). Students can pay online using their Nelnet account in MyCSI Self-Service, by phone, or in person.

Register for Classes Directly from CSI

High school students who are taking classes directly through CSI (in person on a CSI campus, or online through the CSI Canvas platform) should follow these steps to register for college credit through CSI.
