The College of Southern Idaho is constantly working toward being more sustainable by balancing economic, equity, and environmental resources for the students of today and our community of tomorrow.
In 1987 the Brundtland Commission defined the concept of sustainability as the ability to meet the needs of the present without compromising our ability to meet the needs of the future. The CSI Board of Trustees and President are committed to promoting sustainability on the campus and within the Magic Valley community. See their strategic plan for CSI.
The CSI faculty and staff help promote sustainability on campus and within the community. Make a difference in your community by joining the sustainability council!
