ABE Classes

Our Purpose:

To help adults 16* and older to improve their reading, math, and language skills.

Our Program:

Program Orientation (required):

  • Are you unsure if you have the skills for your chosen career or course of study? Come and learn about our program and see if it can help in your future plans.
  • If you are 16 or 17 years of age, please bring a parent or legal guardian and plan to stay a few minutes after Orientation to fill out additional paperwork.

Placement Test:

  • GAIN (General Assessment of Instructional Needs) These tests to assess your basic skills are required before entering our Adult Basic Education program so that we can place you in an appropriate class.
  • GAIN Tests are offered in Burley, Gooding, Hailey, Jerome, and Twin Falls by appointment only.
